SOLO PULP ALLEY - GAME 1

In the fall of 1932, an intrepid band of adventurers embarked on a perilous mission in the dark woods of New Brunswick to find Gerhardt Hilderbrant, a man who has become obsessed with staying young that he's willing to dabble in the dark arts and may have gone mad.  

The team was led by Colonel 'Barking Mad' Darcy of Swanington. His nickname came from the fact that he wears a vest made from a grizzly bear hide even in the sweltering heat of the far east. 

His daughter, Samantha. Also called Red Sam was educated by Italian anarchists and is a deadly shot.

The colonel's old RSM from the Indian Army tags along out of curiosity to see what Lord Swanington will do next. 

Professor Bob, a brilliant if somewhat eccentric scholar, brings his years of reading dark tomes to the group.

Lastly, there's Terry. A former officer in the RCFC who was cashiered for shooting down his squadron CO, whom Terry suspected was a cultist. 

Our heroes venture deep into the woods and to their horror find Gerhardt has sold his sold and become a ghoul. They sneak up on his blasphemous ritual and see he is not alone. Without thinking, the group's strongest suit, they rush to engage some cultists.

In short order, the cultists are shot down until none remain. Gerhardt, however, has summoned a Dark Young of Shub-Niggaruth from beyond the stars to smite his enemies.

Unfortunately for Sam she is the closest target and is attacked by the leviathan. A deadly fight ensues, but with the aid of her colleagues, she is able to survive. Gerhardt is so enraged that he charges Lord Swanington but dies in a hail of bullets. As the game ended on Turn 6 without the Dark Young still      alive the group was forced to withdraw for the night....what horrors are waiting for them next.
